About the College

Government Polytechnic, Chhotaudepur is a government diploma engineering institute established with the vision of providing quality technical education and supporting students from rural and tribal regions of Gujarat. Functioning under the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Gujarat, the institute is committed to fostering innovation, employability, and skill development aligned with national and industrial requirements. The institute is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University (GTU) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The institute's academic information is also registered with the All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE). It operates in coordination with relevant education authorities and organisations, including the Ministry of Education, Government of India, Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat (KCG), and the Admission Committee for Professional Diploma Courses (ACPDC), Gujarat, supporting academic operations, governance, and admissions. The institute offers diploma programmes in engineering disciplines and provides students with opportunities for classroom learning, practical training, laboratory work, and professional development.
